Jeanette has traveled to many places in the world and therefore can work with people in multi-cultural circumstances. She is a military brat as her father was an officer in the U.S. Air Force and she grew up in Spain around F-4 Phantoms, which her father flew. As an adult she has been overseas as well as working for Obunsha, LLC, Japan's 2nd largest publishing company, as an editor and advisor for publications in English, as well as an English instructor. In this position she traveled extensively throughout Japan visiting different language centers and doing guest teaching lessons with various classes of all ages and levels, also being the master of ceremonies for large assemblies and speech contests. Jeanette worked for Komatsu, LTD as well, teaching “engineers” business English.
Later in life, as a missionary, Jeanette did short term missions in Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand.
When she returned to the United States in the early 2000's, she went back to school and obtained her Master’s of Business degree from Wayland Baptist University in Lubbock, TX. She had previously obtained her bachelor’s degree of Mass Marketing from New Mexico State University.
Jeanette loves and is committed to her city of Roswell, New Mexico and has participated in helping the people of her community by being active on several boards. She was the Vice President of Rivers of Live homeless shelter, she was a board member of the Roswell Homeless Coalition, is currently on the board of the Roswell Chapter of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (a United Way program) and has volunteered extensively with the Salvation Army in their outreach programs in and around Roswell. Her values are rooted in her Christian beliefs, and she has two wonderful adult children, Lydia, 21, and Christiana, 19.
